| Posted: | | | | Hi,
I am trying to fix the Quentin Tarantino Collection entry into the Database, I did a cover scan and I was in the process of adding the individual movies as child profiles.
One thing I notice though is when the original release had two discs, this release had only disc 1. One example is Reservoir Dogs. The Quentin Tarantino Collection has disc 1 of the 15th Anniversary release, but not disc 2. So how would you handle adding a child profile for it when the disc ID matches a previous release but it does not have disc 2.
Edit: Sorry, bad title but I can't fix it now. | | | Last edited: by Corey31 |

Been having some issues of my own.
If a single disk edition doesnt exist i think you end up having to build a new "profile" for it.
I am running into the issue of a collection having a disk that I already have as a single and the system not liking that the Disk IDs are the same and not allowing a duplicate entry.
Good luck

| Posted: | | | | DO the movies in this set have UPCs? If not, is Reservoir Dogs already entered in the system by disc ID or just UPC? You can add by disc ID by unchecking the "download from Invelos" box. This is what you should do if the movies don't have their own UPCs. If Reservoir Dogs exists in the DB by your disc ID with 2 discs, is it a legit entry? |

The disc ID for the disc of Reservoir Dogs matches the disc ID for the previous set. The previous entry is a legit entry as the original release is a 2-disc set. Clearly the company recycled the previous disc 1 and pressed it for this set. |

| Posted: | | | | But is the two-disc set entered by disc ID or just by UPC? Assuming you are talking about a US release, it must be UPC. You need to add this by disc ID. GO to the inserted sic tab in the add dialogue and uncheck the box to download an existing profile from Invelos. You can now create a new profile for just the first disc. |
