| Posted: | | | | To whom it may concern, I did not add the BY for Robert De Niro it is not in my local DB so ergo I could not have entered it. I just don't know where the heck it came from. Rory | | | DVD Profiler for iOS as of 3/5/2013 DVD Profiler for Android as of 5/17/2013 |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks, TheMovieman. That is exactly what I meant. This wasn't started because I had my ego bruised by no votes. I just wonder how it could happen if the the source was not my local DB. I have triple checked my local and still no De Niro BY. I have already withdrawn my contribution in favor of Darkknight's and TheMovieman's. (Good work guys, btw. ) Rory | | | DVD Profiler for iOS as of 3/5/2013 DVD Profiler for Android as of 5/17/2013 | | | Last edited: by rorymatt |

If that's the case, on your local find teh actor on a cast list (or type it in), then click "edit cast member", and just remove the BY. I keep having to do this with Samuel Jackson, his BY is a bad penny that keeps popping up no matter how many times I delete it. Annoying at times, but usually no big deal as it takes seconds to fix. |

| Posted: | | | | I've done that and even run the Database Repair Utility. I have never had a BY for De Niro. On the other hand I've had the same problem with Samuel Jackson as you've had. Rory | | | DVD Profiler for iOS as of 3/5/2013 DVD Profiler for Android as of 5/17/2013 |

| Posted: | | | | When you submitted your contribution, at the bottom of the webpage was there a message asking you to confirm the use of a birthyear with a checkbox next to it? If so, unchecking that when contributing will eliminate the BY | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

| Posted: | | | | Could it be that the birth year in your local database is in the crew section, rather than in cast - or the other way around? |

| Posted: | | | | That's where the problem seems to be. The BY must have been associated with the head-shot that I have for the producer crew section. (I have since remover the errant BY. ) Thanks T!M. Rory | | | DVD Profiler for iOS as of 3/5/2013 DVD Profiler for Android as of 5/17/2013 |
