| Posted: | | | | I have a similar problem... copying images is really slow, even if there is no change in my database... What could be the problem? |

| Posted: | | | | I was going to say those times seem really off to me. After the initial sync, all subsequent syncs have taken probably less than a minute (though I've not timed it).
Then I saw you're using a first generation iPod Touch. Was that the equivalent of the original iPhone or the iPhone 3G? I don't recall. I can say on my wife's iPhone 3G, it was horribly slow. Like nearly unusable to scroll through the collection almost. But I don't recall her syncs being anything near an hour. Maybe a couple minutes since it's older hardware. I have no clue what performance you should expect if you're on the original hardward, but an hour still seems overly long to me. Orders of magnitude too long. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | My syncs are taking less than 10 minutes on a 3GS, and that's with 9000+ profiles. I'm not including back covers on the iPhone though. It could be the 1st gen iPod Touch is not up to the task, though. | | | "This movie has warped my fragile little mind." |

| Posted: | | | | I find it slow on my iPhone 4... it takes at least 5 minutes for +/- 540 profiles... |

I have 2-3x that many profiles and mine is snappy. Under a minute. Of course I'm typically just pushing a few small changes (watched event, new discs, etc). Are you trying to update / refresh lots of profiles? | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

Are you trying to update / refresh lots of profiles? yes... something wasn't right on my iPhone 4... it was copying images all over again even if nothing had changed... I installed dvd profiler on my wife's iPhone 3Gs and it's working fine... right now, I can not try it again on my iPhone 4 because I upgraded my iPhone to iOS 4.3 beta 1 (yes I have a developer account)... and I can not open my "owned" items... when I select it, the "owned" button turns to blue... but it stays there and can not select anything else on the screen... it seems to be frozen (or something like that) |
