Help with Metrologic scanner |

I brought a used Metrologic mk1690 usb scanner (MS1690 - 61A38) to help with the logging of my movies, but when I scan the bar cord it wont log it.
The red & blue lights come on but the white light that tells me it was a good scan does not.
Can someone please tell me if this scanner works with DVD Profiler and if yes what am I doing wrong or what am I missing in order for it scan and log my movies?

Blessings Just print the manual and scan the Barcode on page "xiii" (13). Then it should work. Simply open a text editor like notepad and scan the next best thing with a barcode near you. | | | Karsten

Just print the manual and scan the Barcode on page "xiii" (13).
Then it should work.
