I keep getting this error message each time I start up the program...

I'm also having a problem changing layouts. I get a series of error messages before it makes the change. I then have to run the DB repair to get the program to function correctly. Here's the error log from the DB repair log...

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Have you tried booting in Safe Mode (hold down CTRL while program loads, select "Diagnostic Setup" and uncheck all of the boxes) to see if it loads better?

What about restoring a backup?

You could also try starting a new database, see if things are running fine, and then load your backup into it to see if everything goes haywire after that.

If nothing changes, you probably need to reinstall.

Without any address information displayed in the error message, Ken is likely the only person that can answer the reason for the floating point.

The "Invalid Floating Point Operation" usually indicates that your "Tahoma.ttf" (TrueType font) has gone amiss or is corrupted.

Reinstall it from your Windows CD/DVD and the problem should be fixed.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I occasionally get the same error message when I start up DVD Profiler before the operating system has completely finished starting up (Windows Vista), or when a memory hog (Internet Explorer) is starting up at the same time. Doesn't seem to do any real harm though, and the program runs normally. Tried database repair the first couple of times, but that doesn't appear to be really necessary or even do much.
