I would go with Anne Ramsey and Logan Ramsey and use credted as Anne and Logan Ramsey for both.

This means the role will appear twice in the cast list, but I see no other way to achieve correct linking.

Should this be their only movie credit, you could just do exactly as on screen:
Role: Woman & Men in Shelter
Actor: Anne and Logan Ramsey (entirely in the first name field)

I believe that would be against the rules and I would vote no to it... as the rules say...

Rules Quote:
Quote:
For any film with standard credits, take the actor information from the end credits only, with names and roles listed exactly as they are in the credits and in exactly the same order credited.  Exception: If the credit information is entirely capitalized, use standard capitalization rules instead.

As you see in what I put in bold the role has to be exactly per the Credits. Without that I would definitely vote no.

I think how I would do it to be correct per the rules...

Woman and Man in Shelter (Divider as this is 1 role for two or more people)
Anne Ramsey [Anne and Logan Ramsey]
Logan Ramsey [Anne and Logan Ramsey]

Logan Ramsey [Anne and Logan Ramsey]

So what if this is the only credit in the database for these two people.  If so, then the "Common Name" for each would be "Anne and Logan Ramsey", and the DVDP credits would be:

Anne and Logan Ramsey as Woman and Man in Shelter

That just doesn't seem to be very useful to me.

Since the "Role" is really two roles combined, and not actually the same role for each person, I would not use a divider.

I'd enter it the way Tweeter suggests.

Sometimes, the Rules be damned!

I would do it the same and have in similar instances.
For me it would be "as credited". Both the order and roles for both persons are listed.

Obviously I didn't check the CLT and would do as the CLT results tell me to.

I obviously don't read it that way... but as 1 long role for the 2 actors.

That is one thing I can and would not do. If I see something that I wholeheartedly believe breaks the rules... I wouldn't contribute it or would vote no to it whether I like it or not. I am not here to pick and choose which rules I will follow and which I won't/

Unlike 'Guests', this is a single credit.  It doesn't matter that it is a couple playing a couple, we enter them exactly as credited.  That means, unless the CLT shows us anything differently, it is "Anne and Logan Ramsey as Woman and Man in Shelter".

Technically every profile that now uses Group Dividers violated the rules prior to the advent of Group Dividers.  They tried to achieve the spirit of the rules since the letter couldn't be met.

Unfortunately the program still can't correctly accommodate every credit variation (any entry of the Ramsey's as a pair of credits would violate the Rules because that is not how they are credited) so we sometimes have to follow the spirit of the Rules at times.

My proposed solution is the simplest method of doing thiis that i can think of.

I would say to ask Ken or Gerri but that is a 1% chance and then even if they do a clarification actually posted in the guidelines would be a 1% chance of that 1%.

I agree, with the possible exception that the role could be put in a divider with the individual names under it.

I would not use a Credited As of "Anne and Logan Ramsey". Anne Ramsey is not credited as "Anne and Logan Ramsey". She's credited as Anne Ramsey. Listing her as Anne Ramsey is exactly as credited.

We encounter grouped names in crew frequently. I would not take a listing of Alan & Marilyn Bergman as song writers, for example, and use "Alan & Marilyn Bergman" as Credited As for each of them.

IMO that's the most reasonable way to enter the shown graphical layout credits into a database such as profiler. We can't and should not try to simulate every layout aspect of the credits on screen.
