Looks to be a very good year!

A little bit surprised to read though that Fast Five would be a prequel. In the trailer we see Dom, Brian, Mia are there, Letty isn't (she died in the 4th movie), Brian and Mia are a couple obviously, also placing the movie squarely after the first movie.

So, I don't know, from what I've seen in the (awesome) trailer, it seems like it's the follow-up to Fast & Furious (4th movie)

Yes, I thought the same. The trailer suggested that this is their last big coup before retiring.

It's a follow up to the fourth movie but a prequel to Tokyo Drift I think.

You remind me of some film critics.

They say a movie must have "social Impact" of some sort, or should have had some "underlying meaning" before it can be any good.

I enjoy movies that have a "social story" behind them, but that is not why I see a movie.  I watch a movie to be entertained, whether that is by inane and juvenile humor, or fantastic chase scenes, or whatever may  catch my fancy at that particular moment.

By the way, out of your list, I know that at least a few are US productions

The Whistleblower
Moneyball
The Company Men (Salesmen) as long as you are talking about the 2011 release
The Conspirator

Godd point man. I just don't find the majority of that stuff entertaining but each to there own

I was meaning English language film making in general. Not England it self.
