| Posted: | | | | I’m in need of further wisdom!
1) I’m presently auditing a DVD for which the only ‘general’ sound credit (the rest are all Location ones) is Mixed By. Should I include this person with a Production Sound Mixer credit, something else, or not at all?
2) The DVD has subtitles but only on some of the Bonus Material, not on the Main Feature. Should I audit the DVD as having subtitles or not?
The DVD is Pixies: Sell Out 2004 Reunion Tour. 603497041824
Thanks as always.
Paul. | | | Do you ever find yourself striving for perfection with an almost worthless attempt at it? Guttermouth "Lemon Water". Also, I include in my Profiler database VHS tapes, audio DVDs, audio books (digital, cassette and CD), video games (digital, DVD and CD) and 'enhanced' CDs with video tracks on them, as well as films and TV I've bought digitally. So I'm an anarchist, deal with it. Just be thankful I don't include most of my records and CDs etc in it too; don't think I haven't been tempted... |

| Posted: | | | | 1. Where Mixed By isn't in the chart in the rules... I wouldn't add it.
2. I would only add Subtitles for the main feature (movie... not the extras). | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | 1) The way you've descrived it, on a concert DVD like this one, that "Mixed By" credit will refer to a Sound Re-recording Mixer.
2) If the main feature doesn't have subtitles, then don't check any subtitles in the profile. | | | Last edited: by T!M |

| Posted: | | | | 1. The Mixed by credit is ambiguous. I would not add it.
2. Agree with the others, if the subtitles are not menu selectable for the main feature they should not be submitted. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |
