He was one of my favorite directors . and most of his films in later years were of comedy's such as the 'Panther'  series , but even 'Sunset' with Bruce Willis as well as Victor Victoria and as well - 'S.O.B'-  were very funny. ( he filmed his wife topless in that film with Julie Andrew's  blessing ..)   

But it was only day before yesterday I was looking at ''Experiment in Terror'' 1962  and thinking how odd to see such a serious film with his credentials from these type  films we are  more likely to  see from the past 35 years ....
He will be greatly missed .....
In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

He made countless movies that I love but The Great Race still stands out as a favorite for me.

Though I heartily agree with the excellence of some of his output, I would have to sadly add his audio commentaries were some of the worst. Too bad they couldn't have been recorded many years ago in his prime.
