Good day all.  I'm carrying this topic to 'technical support' though there has already been a short thread (same topic but no resolution) on the 'contribution discussion' forum.

Problem I have (more than once now) is that when entering a new disc by EAN, or by Title, no suggestions come up (ie nothing to pick from).  After I've subsequently entered all the info from my disc and attempt to contribute it, lo and behold there is another entry, with the same EAN! This is not cricket methinks.

Worse still, although it has the same EAN, it may be a different version to the one in hand.  OK, I have been reliably informed that this occurance is not necessarily unique, so I've dried my eyes and got over it.

However, as you will note from the thread (should you care to look at it - I have no idea how to 'link' to it) on the Contribution Forum, it seems others are able to get a match on said film (EAN 5014437864437) - yet I can not. Any one know why this should happen?  Film is called "With Six You Get Eggroll" - and its awful by the way.

I just tried it and I also found it, as 5014437864437.4 (UK Locality).

The disc ID is: 8D44BA1CAE8BDD66

Maybe this doesn't help at all, but have you tried uninstalling and re-insatlling DVD Profiler? That should clear up any corruption of configuration files. Just a thought.
Thanks for your support.

Just installed 3.7, does that count as a 'reinstall'?

My disc ID = 8D44BA1CAE8BDD66 [GETEGGROLL_UK_AUS]

Mine is exactly the same. Guess I've lost track of what the issue is here ...

Yes already solved thanks.  My original question on the Contribution Discussion got the answer for me.  Had to reinstal my dod files!  (Press and hold CTRL as you select Online->Refresh Online Profile List) and can now see original posting.

Thanks for all your input.
