I'm completely clueless and for the life of me can't figure this out.
I upgraded and am attempting to create the Blu-ray and HD-DVD collection categories.
I created them and gave them the logo but have no clue how to populate them? Both sit at 0.
Any help greatly appreciated. looked all over and couldn't find an asnwer...sure it's something incredibly obvious...
Thanks!

Hi,

I looked into this after reading your post so I'm not very knowledgeable about this but here's what I noticed.
After creating a new category I selected it in the Collection List window, clicked on the little plus sign icon to add a disc, arbitrarily chose a title and added it.
It showed up in the new category which indicated there was one title in that category.

Hope that helps in some way, Jim F.

Hi again,

After my post I thought that perhaps you'd like to move an existing title into the new category.  I right clicked an existing title and chose "Move to.." and the new category showed up as an option.

You can filter for media type, flag all filtered profiles and then move them to the new category all at once.

I'm curious as to why you want to do this, since you can filter your collection at any moment for just DVDs, or just Blu-ray, or just HD-DVD, or combination thereof.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I think I have it figured out. The only issue I have now is that my 'dvd' 'blu-ray' and hd-dvd' numbers don't add up to my 'owned' number. I think it might be the hd-dvd/dvd combos and the blus that have dvds with them?
How do I get them to show in both? (The Lake House combo is showing in my dvds, but not in hd-dvd) inception is in my 'owned' but not in 'dvd' and 'blu-ray' etc

Mr Video, I want them showing as separate columns since they are organized separately. I like the ease of having three 'collections' and one combined without having to sort/filter. I'm really glad they added this feature. There was a lot of stuff that DVDSpot did that I miss that seems possible now.
