| Posted: | | | | Interesting. When adding "With Six You Get Eggroll" by EAN (or by title) to my collection nothing came up. When I typed it all up to 'contribute', it seems it is there after all - but - with different image! How come methinks?
A 'no vote' asking me to withdraw has been posted against my 'new entry' stating that the original posting was the first issue. Accepted. (apart from the different images, which happen to be on my edition, I had only sought to enhance the entry with some missing info)
However, can someone explain why it has the same EAN (I thought they were unique) and moreover why Profiler doesnt see the existing posting either by EAN or by title adding to data base?
Rubbish film regardless. | | | Gonna jump...gonna jump... |

| Posted: | | | | Obviously, but why does Invelos not register the EAN when trying to add to collection? | | | Gonna jump...gonna jump... |

| Posted: | | | | On add to collection if I try to add your title as in msg 1 With Six You Get Eggroll I get offered EAN 5014437864437. If I then try that EAN I get offered With Six You Get Eggroll. Seems to be working for me.
I did download this to see what contribution notes there were and the initial screen was blank which suggests this title was auto-populated by Mr. Cole following the creation of Invelos. I looked further into the notes and saw your notes.
Is the above EAN the one you are trying to use?

| Posted: | | | | I just attempted to add this DVD, adding by title: the region needed to be set to 2 or any , adding by EAN (5014437864437) the UK version of the DVD was found. You may need to change the defaults in DVDprofiler options (Tools menu, select Options, Defaults is the top tab), making sure region 2 is selected in the "Regions to Include" area. | | | Registered: February 10, 2002 | | | Last edited: by greyghost |

| Posted: | | | | Yes that's the EAN on both my disc and the apparently original posting, just tried again to 'add to collection' and when I add EAN, or title, nothing comes up. How come? Any further thoughts? Odder still that it works for you. Quoting dfmorgan: Quote: On add to collection if I try to add your title as in msg 1 With Six You Get Eggroll I get offered EAN 5014437864437. | Posted: | | | | That's the correct EAN (for both) but just tried again and got nothing. Region is set to 2. Plan B? Is your locality setting for the search correct (UK)? Check in "Tools -> Options -> Defaults" and the pull-down-menu in the "Add to Collection"-window. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Dave I just tried setting my Region to 1 and entering EAN 5014437864437 I was offered With Six You Get Eggroll (United Kingdom). I wonder if you have a corruption in one of your files. Doesn't a dod file, or something like that, hold the list of discs available on-line. Dave |

| Posted: | | | | Umm... if your latter point means the window that opens when you select to 'add by title', then yes, that is set to Reg 2 also. Still no joy. Quoting dfmorgan: Quote: Quoting tcremote:

Close DP, delete both files, start DP and choose "Online" -> "Refresh Updated Profiles from Invelos...". The current list of available profiles is downloaded again this way (may take some time depending on your internet speed), perhaps it solves your problem... | | | 1.0.1, iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.1.0

I couldn't find them at the time and was too inebriated last night to reply coherently. Dave |
