Tried Searching for this but the Search timed out.

What's the easiest way to wipe the DVD Profiler database clean so a person could start over?  Made a few mistakes the first time around that I would like to correct, if I'm not successful in my attempt to correct or if it just becomes too much of a PITA, I want to just start over.

Thanks,      -kd5-

Goto File --> open database.

Create a new database. Then select the new database, and click ok

Then, File --> open database. --> select the old database, and press delete.

Warning, if you do this, all content is gone. I recommend doing a full backup of your current database before you delete it.

Was able to correct my mistakes so I didn't have to do this (whew!).      -kd5-

(how many posts do you need before you can post links?)

You can do this immediately.

- Copy the link adress ("CTRL + C")
- In the message editor click on the icon that looks like this:
- Press "CTRL + V"
- Press "Enter"
- Done
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Thanks, that worked just fine, but out of curiosity why should I have to do all that?  Is posting URLs normally not permitted?

Thanks,      -kd5-

Depending on how much personalization you did with the old database, you may not want to delete it just yet.  After creating the new database, you can import selected profiles from the old database.  It might save you a lot of work.
