Bloody hell. The local builders have picked a great time to start doing loud work right outside the house. Might not be able to watch the new BR for a couple of days

I would recommend it to sci-fi buffs and fans of classic cinema in general, but most of my friends do not fall into any of those categories...

BTW, has anyone here ordered the BD directly from MoC? Today is the official day of release and I still haven't heard anything, not even a confirmation mail (except from PayPal). Should I be worried yet?

What difference does noisy builders make? You're watching a silent film aren't you?

Still got a 5.1 DTS MA track though that I want to savour properly.

Emm i read what that said why you edit it?

"I have always lived in detached houses lets me pump up the volume level" or something to that affect. Exactly what's so wrong with that? Unless it leads one to think that you where lying about your days as a pizza courier struggling to make ends meet in the aspiration of setting up your own business.

Im curious as to what was the point in this post.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Im curious as to why Sam would edit his post that's why

Sam decided to give me lecture a while back how he had no money and worked delivering pizzas to make the money he need for the start up of his business.

Well the cut and thrust of that lecture was this.

I edited the post as it wasn't really on topic and I didn't want to derail the thread (which I managed to do anyway and don't see what this has to do with a discussion from about 3-4 years ago... also, this is my last OT post in this thread - please stay on topic).

Also, if that's what you got from my "lecture" then you didn't get it. Job = Pride more than anything.

Adding you back to blocked list seen as you seem to have some sort of scary stalker hard on for me and my life over various sites. Bye.

Yes, I ordered it direct from Eureka, as part of their limited edition with free T-Shirt offer.

I received the Blu last Wednesday (the 17th).

If it's any consolation, I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail that it had been dispatched, either.

Ah good to know. Guess I'll wait a few more days then before I contact them.

UPDATE: The movie arrived later in the day. Still no t-shirt though, maybe they've sent it separately...
