If you're wondering how to free the discs (and put them back) in the unusual disc holders:

And here's a much larger image of the instructions, in Adobe PDF format:

I seriously considered starting a thread last night asking how to easily remove the discs from the digipak.
The fact that someone had to write instructions on how to remove the discs tells me a great deal (mostly that some moron should be fired).

I had to visibly bend them to get them out.

The instructions help mitigate that but still...instructions!

What were they thinking?

Thanks for posting this.  They could have put this on flip side of that little insert with the Digital Copy codes instead of an ad for Despicable Me.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

Agreed, they really should have posted the instructions on that Digital Copy insert.

That diagram comes direct from Universal customer service.

I didn't really have a big problem removing them since I'd already read the blu-ray.com review which mentions the odd disc holders. It still took a minute or so to figure them out though, and I can easily see buyers having problems here...

I honestly think this stuff is designed to facilitate disc damage.

I shall have to pass on this item.  I'm not very tolerant of poor disc packaging.

I've seen this packaging before on the Canadian releases of Earth: Final Conflict Seasons. It;s fairly easy to use, but easy to break the stays or scratch the disc if one is not careful.    Good post Katatonia.

Big greenie for you!
My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it!
