| Posted: | | | | I purchased this a few weeks back from Amazon. There must be something wrong with the UPC. There is no record of it when I input the number to Add by UPC. Trying By Inserted Disc generates no information and actually locked up the program for a minute. I tried By Title figuring I would upload a DVD version and then edit it to suit, However, the only DVD version on the list is the 2 disc special edition I already have and it won't let me double enter.
Anyone else run into this issue? |

| Posted: | | | | This probably means it's not in the database yet. You might try doing another Title search while expanding your range of Localities/Regions to include releases from other countries and then modify one of those to match your release (iincluding changing Locality/Region back to US). More instructions on how to do this can be found here. Or, alternatively, create a profile from scratch by entering the UPC and unticking the Download profile from Invelos tickbox at the bottom of your screen. After unticking the box you can proceed to create the profile. | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

| Posted: | | | | DOH! "unticking the Download profile from Invelos tickbox" so that's what it means, LOL.
The Cloning Instructions will come in handy, saving all this info for future reference. 700 discs in my collection and this is the first time I've run into this situation.
Thank You.
EDIT: Found a Netherlands BRD issue, life is good. | | | Last edited: by FLighT |

EDIT: That you didn't run into this situation before is probably due to the fact that you're in the R1 US locality. In smaller localities, it is not uncommon to encounter releases not in the database yet. Personally I'm buying worldwide, so I've gotten used to submitting new profiles... | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

| Posted: | | | | You can only buy this title exclusively from Amazon at this point, hence the lack of a profile I guess. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

Amazon exclusive, that's right. The cloning worked very well, the only aspect I couldn't alter was the disc ID number, I could read it visually off the disc but could not enter it in the Disc info area of Edit Profile. Of course the issue started with the fact that inserting the disc into my DVD ROM read no UPC and for sure no disc ID#. The cover images, especially the back are off but sooner or later someone will probably scan in correct ones. The biggest plus was cloning saved me from having to input the crew and cast one at a time, that's a carpel tunnel relief. |

| Posted: | | | | The only way to get the Disc ID right is by inserting the disc in your PC's drive and have DVDP read it. Insert the disc and in the Edit Profile screen, go to Discs. Remove the existing Disc, and add yours instead (Add Disc / Set). | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |
