| Posted: | | | | This is a little different, but I guess something like this can be also used for concerts and other live performing arts published on DVD.
I'm trying to do credits for "The Adventures of Pinocchio" (UPC 809478070191), an opera recording from Opus Arte. The crew credits are little different from movie credits and I'm wondering who and how to record these credits.
The main crew credits from the feature include in order
Music (?Composer credit) Libretto (?Screenwriter credit) Conductor Stage Director (?Director) Set & Costume Designer (?Prod Designer and Costume Designer) Lighting Designer (no DVDP credit) Movement Director (???)
There is no conventional crew (editor, director, producer, cinematographer listed)
There is also credit on the cover for
Recording Director (?Director) Sound Producer Recording and BD Producer Recording and BD Executive Producer
What should these folks get credit for, if any? | | | My Home Theater | | | Last edited: by xradman |

| Posted: | | | | Well, I profiled some Shakespeare productions from Opus Arte a while ago and I had to improvise some of the crew roles but I think I left most of them out in the end... I did credit both the stage and film/video directors though. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | For what it's worth, here's what I would do:
Music (?Composer credit) YES: Composer Libretto (?Screenwriter credit) NO Conductor NO Stage Director (?Director) YES Set & Costume Designer (?Prod Designer and Costume Designer) YES: PD and CD Lighting Designer (no DVDP credit) NO Movement Director (???) NO Recording Director (?Director) Could this be Sound? (as in Sound Supervisor) Sound Producer NO Recording and BD Producer YES: Producer Recording and BD Executive Producer YES: Ex.Prod. |

| Posted: | | | | Quoting xradman: Quote: Libretto (?Screenwriter credit) Libretto would be Written by IMO, rather than screenwriter (since it wasn't written for the screen). It should definitely be credited in some form, as they write all the elements outside of the composer. |
