Buffer error on backup

I keep getting a buffer error when I try to backup. How do I fix this? Help!

Please try a database repair before. Tools->Options->Utilities.

Try rebooting your PC, run the DB Repair again, reload DVDP, then Backup. (fingers crossed  )

I would also try backing it up into a different directory, preferably in "My Documents" instead of the default C drive root directory.

Alternately, you can back up the "DVD Profiler" directory in your "My Documents" directory by copying it to another location.
