| Posted: | | | | When you scan a SteelBook should you crop the image to keep the edges of the case to maintain the "SteelBook" look or should you clean up the edges and corners (like Keep Case inserts with rounded corners) There is no issue here just trying to find out peoples preference |

There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. | Posted: | | | | This issue (as far as I've seen it discussed here) seems to simply be a matter of personal opinion/preference. Some fill in the corners if possible, some leave it as it. I think the only thing that was ever agreed on was to NOT crop them off (thereby slightly cutting off the side, top and bottom edges of the cover). No one seems to be against it one way or another.
Personally, and only personally of course, not pretending to speak for anyone else, I'd fill them in if it's a possibilty. I've never had a cover image declined because of rounded corners filled in, and I've never had a single no vote to an image contribution because of rounded corners filled in. | | | The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play. |

| Posted: | | | | I prefer keeping the rounded corners myself, otherwise it doesn't look like a steelbook, and if we could have transparent colours, keeping the rounded corners would look much nicer against the background. I think this feature has been requested before. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Nexus the Sixth |

| Posted: | | | | While I understand the desire for the transparent colors, Kino, Ithink that would open up a new can of worms as users might well begin battling over what background color they think looks best. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

I'm strictly against inventing or interpolating data. JPEG doesn't allow transparency, does it? PNG does allow transparency, doesn't it? | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |

Feel free to speak for me on this issue, too. But just this issue. NO OTHERS. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com
