| Posted: | | | | Some DVDs have a chapter pamphlet which is a single piece of paper with a image on one side and a chapter list on the other, can these be added to "Other Features" |

| Posted: | | | | I am not sure that a double-sided sheet of paper with simply a Chapter list brings any added value to the party...maybe if we could add the Chapter data itself. This is different from an actual booklet, which may contain all sorts of information. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | I wouldn't add it...then again, I wouldn't add a single sheet of paper folded in half either. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Caution: on these forums, don't ask for a definition of 'simple'. | | | Hans |

Caution: on these forums, don't ask for a definition of 'simple'. The only 'Simple' lists the rules reference do not mention chapter stops as worthy of inclusion in the Overview. Overviews:Quote: If the Main Feature of the disc is a collection of some kind (e.g. shorts, TV episodes, multiple films, etc.) rather than one single feature, a simple list of the collection contents may be added to the standard overview. Example: 1. Title 2. Title 3. Title TV Series on DVD (Overview):Quote: Complete Series/Season & Anthologies of Episodes - A simple list of Episodes may also be added to the standard overview. Do not add episode synopses to the overview field, but these can be added to the local non-contributed “Notes” field. And i would not add it to Other Features either. | | | Bad movie? | Posted: | | | | Agree with Tweeter on both points... chapters within a single movie is not allowed in Overview and I would not put these sheets in Other Features | | | Pete | | | Last edited: by Addicted2DVD |

| Posted: | | | | Like DarlyNoon I only add Booklets to other features concerning leaflets/booklets. I can't say it isn't allowed to add a leaflet but I don't see the point adding this. | | | Cor | | | Last edited: by Corne |

| Posted: | | | | It should have it's own check-box really, like insert or not (although many inserts now are just ads for other dvds, and don't have anything about the feature at all). I like to keep my discs complete, and hate buying used discs that are missing the chapter inserts or booklets. For this reason, I'd like to see a feature that at least lets me know if there ever was an insert. I say ever was as I know they are often removed from later printings/pressings, esp. when the dvd takes a price dive to the bargin bin. I have yet to get a booklet from any $3 dvd at Big Lots, despite many old MGM discs I've bought there saying they have a booklet on the back cover still. I know it's just the same old cover, and they saved $ by skiping the insert. In fact, I'd love to see scans of them added so I can print out something for my discs missing them. Every once in a while you can find insert scans on cdcovers.cc, but it's few and far between. I just like to have something to read or look at while disc is loading, besides the back cover I already read in the store! Remember the good old days when Blockbuster and Hollywood would get the same dvds as retail? More than once I grabbed an insert I was missing, a double to get a special offer without cutting mine up (when they wanted upc's from them), or just steal a bunch of Disney bucks from the display cases! I forgot to cash in my Disney bucks in time. | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

| Posted: | | | | I would only add it as long as it doesn't exclude anything else from the Other Features field, as it's already too short for many items. But I've actually never seen the need to add it, so count me neutral. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |
