| Posted: | | | | Hey there,
I would like to hear your opinion on this, as I am not 100% sure on this either.
Title of concern is: Mulholland Drive: Studio Canal Edition: Blu-ray
I am right now contributing an update to the title, where i say: Scene Selection ticked
So far 1 Yes Vote and 2 No Votes.
The Blu-ray Menue has got a Scene Selction/Aceess link which is clickable, but as David Lynch does not want his movie to be clicked thru, this link takes you to a random scene in the movie.
Do we strictly go what the menue tells us and tick Scene Selection or do we interprete the data and do not click it ?

| Posted: | | | | Personally, I would do for the blu-ray the same than for the DVD : No scene selection and other feature : Random access to scenes. | | | Images from movies |

I certainly wouldn't use the default Scene Selection if the user can't choose which scene to play. |

| Posted: | | | | No to "Scene Selection" - after all, the feature doesn't actually allow you to personally select a scene to view, does it? |

I could see that, after all, it's not truly scene access if it doesn't allow you to choose the scene you want to select, but it is something I would want to know is on the disc, personally anyway. This would probably be the option I would choose to go with. | | | The night is calling. And it whispers to me soflty come and play. |

| Posted: | | | | I can see this both ways but since the rules call for "access to individual chapters or scenes" I think it means that I should be able to choose which scene I want to view. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Count me in as agreeing, no scene selection. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | I'd say those old dvds that had no scene select menu, but did have scene stops you could skip to are closer to being "scene selections" than somethjing that randomly picks for you. No on this one! |

| Posted: | | | | I agree, this is also an unusual, one of a kind, that should somehow be explained. Kind of like Scene Access*
*Explanation
We can't do that directly....but perhaps the explanation could be done through the Easter Egg frame. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here
