add' Xena Package 1-6' to the database? |

| | Posted: | | | | Just got the so called 'Xena - Staffel 1-6 Komplett-Package' (amazon.de title for the 'box'). It's nothing but a brown paper / postal delivery box with the six single Xena season sets in it. It's NOT a slip case that fits over the season boxes. No cover art or anything. Just a plain brown box. But it has a this barcode sticker on it:

Should I add it to the databade and if so what name to use? The one from amazon or the one on the sticker? |

In my opinion, this is just Amazon selling the six seasons together for one attractive price, but it's not an official "complete series box set" issued by the distributor. I fully understand that Amazon.de will slap an EAN-sticker on it for internal processing, but as far as I'm concerned that doesn't make the box they packaged the six separate seasons in anything other than just that: the box they used to send you the six separate seasons. So I'd just enter the six seasons separately, and nothing more. |

| | Posted: | | | | The brown box really is a lot like the ones amazon uses but it has no 'amazon' written on it and they put the box into another (amazon) box before sending it to me. So there is no adress sticker on it. The EAN (9120027344749) is not only used by amazon. JPC.de and exlibris.ch know it, too. So I guess the box is made by the distributor but maybe only for mail order shops. It just to ugly to put it into a shop with customers  But I think you're still right and I won't upload it because most people will miss the EAN on the box anyway. | | | | Last edited: by Corma |
