| Posted: | | | | I've seen several movies and television shows in the past with credits such as ...
"Tattoo Artist", "Body Art Make-up" or something like "Body Make-up by"
Do we need a new 'Body Art Make-up Artist' (or similar) credit for these roles, or would they be valid as 'Make-up Artist' or 'Make-up Effects'? |

| Posted: | | | | I think it would depend on the show as to whether I added them or not, but if I did I would add them as Makeup, not FX. |

| Posted: | | | | I'd love to be able to "+1", so to speak, but unfortunately I don't believe that "I think it would depend on the show as to whether I added them or not" actually answers GreyHulk's question... Locally that approach works fine, of course (and yes, I make very similar decisions in my local database, too), but for the online database... Not so much. Either we add them, or we don't. |

| Posted: | | | | I have to agree with Tim on that... it really shouldn't depend on the show. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I have to agree with Pete's agreement with T!M...either we add them or we don't. In my opinion, we do as it is a form of makeup. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Imho it doesn't fit til now in any of our categories, so I wouldn't add them until it gets included in the rules. |

| Posted: | | | | I never would have thought to include Tattoo and Body Artists to Crew data. If they are to be added then they would get Make-Up Artist credit. But, should they be included at all? I really don't know. |

| Posted: | | | | I did come across a "Body Makeup" credit before it was Julie Steffes in Mars Attacks! Just checked the CLT and the only credits for her in Mars Attacks are the 2 profiles i did so could need removing?, i couldn't see any reason to leave her out though | | | Last edited: by ninehours |

| Posted: | | | | I would think "Body Makeup" would be a valid credit - it's just specifying which makeup the artist did.
I'm not sure about including "Tattoo Artist" however. Don't care either way though. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |

| Posted: | | | | Okay, given those credits I'd definitely give Magrath & Reece-Thorne a makeup artist credit, since the tattoo part is also attached to a perfectly valid role. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield |
