Just wanted to post and let people know that if you have a free poster code (comes in marked dvds of Fox movies--I received a code on one of those 4 packs that are new at Target, the Fox Classics and cost less than 10 bucks), you do get a really nice poster.  Comes very well shipped...mine was not only in a poster roll canister, but also in a large cardboard box protecting the canister.

It's fairly large...didn't measure it, but I'd say the same size as the kind you'd buy in a store...about the size advertisements at a movie theater are.  Well worth the 6 bucks shipping and while they said to wait 6-8 weeks, got mine in less than one week.  Not too shabby!

That one of The Day The Earth Stood Still is beautiful. I would love to get my hands on one of those.

I got one the other day.  It's pretty nice.

It's a shame I already have The Day The Earth Stood Still on DVD. But that poster has me tempted to buy it again.

This is the edition I have:

The German ones are pretty awful too nowadays, however sometimes the release company has anticipated and you can turn the cover inside out which will give you the same image without the rating. Don't know if they do that in Australia too.

They're not so bad, you get use to them after a while.
