I have two slip cases what do have something that looks like a UPC, but my barcode scanner does not recognise it. The individual keepcases inside the slip cases have the same problem -- the number below the "UPC" is just the one from the slip case with " 1", " 2", " 3", " 4" or " 5" added to it.

I can add the individual keepcases bij disc ID, but the slip case has no discs of its own. So I'm wondering how to get around that.

How many numbers are there under the barcode? An EAN should have 13 numbers, a UPC should have 12. If there are more, try just typing in the first 13 and see if that's accepted.
Have you also tried searching by title? It's also possible someone else has already got round the problem and got them in the database.

If you can't find a UPC/EAN that DVDP will accept, all you can do is create child profiles by Disc ID and a manual profile for the parent. Unfortunately, the latter can not be contributed.

One of the "UPC"s is "1 2001 07 06 3 10308" so we can't make anything valid out of that.

The profile used to be in the database (version 2), but was removed because it had the wrong locality.

Of course I managed to enter it into my local database, but I was hoping that there would be some way to contribute it. Oh well. ;(
