I tried to italicize a dagger symbol in an Overview to match the cover. In the edit window, the symbol was shown in an italic font correctly.

However, when I click OK and look at the profile, the italic formatting is removed, including any text I italicized with the dagger symbol.

Anybody gotten this to stick?

I tested it several different ways and I don't seem to be having any problems with it.

Works for me, too. Have you checked, if maybe the setting "Suppress overview text formatting" in the display options is ticked?

Okay, weird, so its just me. Maybe time for another database repair.

That display option is not checked.

I just looked at the profile again, and it was in italics. So I opened it for edit - not italics. Set italics. Close. Overview not italics.

I went to contribute it, and it is in italics..
