hi there is a function mode for to save the database automatic every "x" minutes as word program as example?

There isn't, you need to trigger a backup manually, or use a script to do this on every startup for example. The backup is DVDP specific and can not be read by any other program, such as Word.

You may want to make an entry in the feature request forum.

The changes you make in a profile will be automatically saved if you click the Ok button at the "Edit profile" window. (That's what I assume from using)
