| | Posted: | | | | Not sure why it started or how it happened but when I enter a new DVD it puts the collection number as 378 (when the latest DVD is at 1311 or something)? It seems that it may have used to count TV series as seperate collection numbers but now it doesnt? Anybody know how to fix this? I tried a full backup restore already AND repairing the database. Does not seem to work.... |

| | Posted: | | | | It sounds like you did somehow get some gaps in your numbers (since the program will sometimes try and fill the missing ones in)
If you have always entered/kept track of the dates that you purchased each DVD, you can go to:
Collection -> Reassign Collection Numbers and follow the instructions. | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.

| | Posted: | | | | PROBLEM SOLVED! Thanks very much for the replys... I am still not sure how the gaps were created (and I have over 1200 discs so Im not sure I'll ever be able to figure out if somethings missing now?) BUT the solution was pretty easy. I just followed BLAIRS suggestion (which I found before reading the replies... slighty embarrased I couldnt find it earlier). But all is good now- So thank-you. |
