Problem with adding upcoming DVDs/Blu-rays |

just bought a new computer and have an issue there with the Profiler which I do not have with my old computer. Both are running Profiler 3.6.1 but the old one with Win XP while the new one has Win 7. When I want to add a DVD / Blu-ray from the upcoming section it starts with Region 1 and locality USA and I cannot change anything. If I choose to show Blu-ray only nothing changes it still shows DVDs and Blu-rays, or if I want to see discs from Region 2 lets say UK nothing happens it still only shows Region 1 and USA discs. Did anybody ever have this problem?

Please check DVDProfiler menu "Tools -> Options -> Default" if your region and locality settings are correct. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!

Since this feature is running as a browser it might be that the features are blocked by your security software. I'm not sure now whether it uses IE, your default browser, or an own engine. So please check the logfiles of your firewall for blocked elements. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!

So it seems Profiler is using Internet Explorer even if your default browser is a different one.

Danke für die Hilfe I do believe this is correct. For internal working it is using the IE client. If it opens an actual browser window, it opens the default browser. This is not uncommon in a lot of programs... |
