Spychips: How Major Corporations and Government Plan to Track Your Every Move with RFID
It is the first step to the planned roll-out of the Internet of Things, where global corporations like IBM,
Procter & Gamble, and Wal-Mart's technology partner NCR plan to equip every product with a tracking
device and use a network of RFID readers to monitor and observe YOU everywhere you go.

And here is a WSJ poll where you can make your views known (today only):
At least you can read the responses.

i might be okay wih the tracking sometimes unless it's walmart and then it's a big fat no for me. and by sometimes i mean if it is lost, misplaced or stolen. walmart is an evil company and i dont want them putting trackers in everything. i worked their as a high school job 2 years ago and the things they do are not good and illegal.

Because of the pricacy issues there are people making RFID killers. Have a look this German guy called Rfiddler: http://codeninja.de/rfiddler/

I am sure that in the future small compact RFID killers will be available for commercial use

If they are not forbidden until then. Do not underestimate the power of commercial interests of multinational companies. Not to forget the classical "If you've got nothing to hide, you've got nothing to fear"
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
