Hi,

I just began experiencing this.  I've previously uploaded without problems.  I did a database repair and re-install but still couldn't upload.  No problem indications initially but then I get a read time out error or something like that after several minutes and then a try again later message.  One desktop, one laptop.  Took the laptop to where I had broadband access and uploaded without problems.
Anyone else using dial-up and if so any problems?
I was able to upload without cover images.

Just did a test to check and my contribution get the message error also.
In a way, I'm happy it didn't go trough since I don't want to contribute to the database for well known reasons. But as I'm on a modem connection and you were asking for a confirmation from someone with the same configuration...

Thanks.  I felt it unlikely that 2 computers would both experience the same problem at the same time but it's nice to get corroboration that the problem isn't just mine.

I'm not aware of your reasons for not contributing but I always get the feeling that I'm like General Zod at the beginning of Superman, but then I imagine the large faces of the judges replaced with those of Larry, Moe and Curly.  This helps.

I believe that every one is trying to make Profiler the best that it can be but opinions differ on what that is.  If I see the rules flaunted but I like the results I'll go with the flaunter every time.
