I have one Blu-ray where the blu top that appears on the front scan also appears on the back. All Blu-ray discs should only get this on the front when HD or HD slim is ticked under packaging. I have checked all settings but cannot see why I get this fault. It is not the original scan, which has no blu top when viewed separately. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas? I have done a repair job but that did not help.

I have found a partial solution to this but I feel sure there is a setting option somewhere that I have been unableto find. The solution is to right click the rear image, select edit, select rear image and change the media banner option from automatic to off. This fixes the problem. The same can be done with odd scans on the front image but somewhere there ought to be a setting that allows this to be done automatically. All my early Blu-ray covers were just fine. I have only had trouble recently since the new version was downloaded.

Tools > Edit Media Types
There you can then change the default banner useage and the graphics for all the media formats as you prefer.  The small catch is that anything you've changed away from Automatic won't be affected, tho that may not be an issue for your particular preferences.

edit: you can copy/paste particular banner preferences to a flagged lot also:
1. edit a profile to display banners as you would like,
2. select  DVD > Copy
3. flag the profiles you would like to make banner match
4. select  Collection > Flagged > Paste  and tick  Media Banners

Note: you'll need to provide a banner graphic after unticking Use Default, as the default one isn't automatically available when you change this option.    I can't find it in the Profiler folders, so it's probably internal to the program, tho I'm pretty sure samples were posted somewhere here some time ago...
(edit: Astrakan found them; just point to the appropriate image there, or could make your own customized version.)

I'm not entirely sure if this is what you're looking for, but the media banners are placed here:

C:\Program Files\DVD Profiler\Media
Tags, tags, bo bags, banana fana fo fags, mi my mo mags, TAGS!
Dolly's not alone. You can also clone profiles.

Yes, that's them! I forgot to look there too.
