Last week I've contributed six profiles. While Four of the six are released, two of them are still holding the status received. Because it looks like no-one owns these dvds (they are ex-rentals), nobody votes for (or against) them, and one of the last commands was that one of them was fake. To prove it really isn't I included the covers with readable EANs . Is it possible that those 2 will hold that status forever, or am I just a little impatient ? Btw, it concerns the profiles 5-050582-560763 and 8-716777-921692.

It is not unusual for profiles to be accepted at different times. New contributions are sometimes accepted in a day or two while others take much longer.

Thank you for contributing!

Is the status "Received" or "Reviewing"?
If it is "Reviewing" your contribution is in second level (which lasts a lot longer), this is mostly because of yet undocumented birthyears.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

You submitted updates to the two EANs in question on July 3 & 4 respectively.  Presently it is taking about a week for approval of update contributions.  I have some from July 1 that are still in the Received category.

Patience.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

yup... sounds like you just need to be more patient. I have several still waiting to go through from July 1st.

The status is "received".
I figured that I was a little impatient  , and really didn't mean to be. It's just that, yesterday, I've red a topic about removing profiles if the EANs were unknown. Because most of my last dvds are ex-rental and quite unknown for Google, I was a little afraid that that was the case.

You also have to remember that it was a holiday weekend here in the states, so that might delay things a bit as well.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
