| Posted: | | | | After doing many profiles I have come across times when in the end credits they list a Visual Effects company and then just a list pf people.
These people have no roles associated with them, but I have noticed a few names listed that I have already in my database as Visual Effects Supervisors or Digital Effects Supervisors.
And what about cases where it's just a company name (but it is a Visual Effects Company) and people listed under that?
Something like
Digital Domain <Name 1> <Name 2> <Name 3> and so on...
Sometimes the number of people listed under these (with no roles) can be quite high in number,
So is it ok to credit these people who are listed under a Visual Effects company divider? |

We do not list everybody underneath any VFX company (compositors, rotoscope, etc.) If there are no positions listed, I just leave the VFX company off (at least for the online)

No role, no credit, no assumptions. Yes. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |
