| Posted: | | | | I want to make sure I am right in this assumption. Is GmbH & Co. KG a studio extension of Kalima Productions GmbH & Co. KG as I found in the Bourne Identity and just be entered as Kalima Productions? |

| Posted: | | | | I'd say it's just "Kalima Productions", but I don't think it gets listed at all due to lack of space - as far as I recall it's:
Universal Pictures Hypnotic The Kennedy/Marshall Company
Note that while Kennedy/Marshall Company is abbreviated the first time it's shown, the end credits confirm the full "The Kennedy/Marshall Company" studio name (and the rules tell us to use the not-abbreviated version). |

| Posted: | | | | GmbH is a German abbreviation tha is the equivalent of the English Ltd. (Limited) I believe. In any case, it's something added after a company's name to indicate what kind of legal form it has. Perhaps this bit of info can help? | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

| Posted: | | | | Not just GmbH, the whole GmbH & Co. KG descripes the legal character of the company. GmbHKGSo it should be Kalima Productions. |

| Posted: | | | | KG - Kommanditgesellschaft. A partnership under a legal name. There must be a minimum of two partners, at least one limited and at least one unlimited.
GmbH - Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung. Translates to "Company with limited liability." In Germany, a GmbH means that the company is incorporated, but it is not publicly traded (as public companies must be AG's). GmbH's are essentially partnerships without a legal name, and there must be at least two partners. There must be nominal capital of at least DM 50,000. Subsidiaries of AG's can be GmbH's.
GmbH & Co. KG - Like a KG, but the entity with unlimited liability is a GmbH instead of a person.
This describes the legal structure of the company, therefor is a company suffix |
