Feature of cut / uncut in further releases?

Hello,

this is my first post here and I would like to ask if it is possible in further releases of DVD Profiler that you can add a little button for the movie to show if the version ist the cut / uncut version of the film? Thought about a little symbol like a scissor that turns from green to red if the DVD / Blu-ray is cut.

Probably a bit difficult. How do we define what's cut or not? A lot of movies are cut in the US to receive a lower MPAA rating. Uncut compared to other available releases, or compared to what was originally shot? In many cases, it will be impossible to determine what constitutes as cut.

It could depend on this: cut = cutted by the publisher for rating circumstances; uncut = official R / Unrated version of the movie. Example: the German Blu-ray Disc "Gamer" is FSK 18 rated but was cutted for this rating. The UK Blu-ray is BBFC 18 rated but uncut. We could use such databases like imdb or ofdb.de or schnittberichte.com (for German users).

I believe for the most part we already do this by using the UR rating...
