I bought a new PC and need to transfer my DVD Collection to it from my old PC.
How do I do it?

Open DVDProfiler
Perform a database repair via menu "Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Repair database ..."
Go to menu "File -> Backup Profile Database ..."
Follow the instructions for a full backup.
Since it doesn't always work to store the backup directly to a USB-drive, I recommend to store it on your HDD first and copy it to a USB-stick afterwards.
On your new computer:
Attach the USB-stick that contains the backup to an empty USB plug
Open DVDProfiler
Go to DVDProfiler menu "File -> Restore Profile Database ..."
Point the program to the location of your backup-file
Click OK and wait for the restore to finish | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
