Plugin & DVD Profiler launch problem... |

| | Posted: | | | | When I try to launch DVD Profiler and have my plugins checked, I'm getting multiple pop-ups: Bulkedit (this one appears a few times, not always consecutively): Configuration system failed to initialize Database Query: Configruation system failed to initialize Cinematic Collection Viewer Plugin: Configruation system failed to initialize This happened a few weeks ago out of nowhere. Just started. I've had them shut off since then, but would like to tackle the issue. I'd love any suggestions based on experience.  |

| | Posted: | | | | I'd start with a re-install of DVDProfiler. You listed three different plug-ins written by three different people. I suspect the problem isn't the plug-ins. And the error you're seeing doesn't sound like a Windows error. So I'd suspect Profiler itself. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.

I'm pretty sure I tried the db repair, but I'll give it another go. If it doesn't take then I'll try the re-install. Question about that, though:
Obviously I should back everything up first (database, layouts, etc.) but should I also do an uninstall and reinstall or just install over it? I've worked pretty long and hard on my bizarre layout and galleries. I'd hate to risk losing anything, but I'm sure I'd forget to back something up... | | | | Last edited: by IronWaffle |

"Object reference not set to an instance of an object" when I try to view the Awards window from the CCV plugin.
"Configuration system failed to initialize" when I try to launch Database Query
Will try Bulk Edit later, but first I have some backing up to do... |
