| | Posted: | | | | Hello, I just started to use DVD Profiler. After searching for a while, I decided to post my open point here: is it feasible to add a custom id? I want to print out own barcode labels to identify each of my disks beside their UPC barcode.

If I printed own barcodes, I'm looking to have a field within DVD Profiler to add the text of these own barcodes as an unique identifier for each of my DVDs. Therefore, the records would show the DVD Profiler internal number (counter), the UPC to reference to the DVD content and an unique key from my own barcodes. | | Posted: | | | | Assuming that your Notes field is used for other purposes, I think in your situation I would use the Location field (next to Disc ID), on the Personal tab.
If you do need to use the Notes field, I'd put the barcode between special markers, so as to filter them out, for example through HTML code, for printing purposes. | | | | Hans |
