How did you manage to convert the covers? I folded about 1mm of each side to make them fit into doubles and 2mm to make them fit in singles. It was hard folding the first few covers, but once I got over that, it was no problem. I'd rather fold something that is barely noticeable (and only noticeable when you remove the cover from the case) then have to sell to make room. :D | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

I like having an instantly identifiable case that sets them apart from DVD cases. I also think that the unique colour helps those who don't understand the different formats. I was in a local store a little while back and someone was asking about them & the shop assistant advised them that the easiest way to know which you're after is by looking at the colour on the shelf. I'd personally hate for them to switch to black. I do however agree with the OP & would much prefer that where possible, titles to be released in HD Slim cases. |

I actually did that with the first few, but then went to folding. Faster cutting, sure, and it didn't really bother me to cut them, but I figured if I ever did decide to sell them to, say, SecondSpin, it might be better just to unfold them. I never replace the case with another type. Only when the original case is damaged I will replace it with the same type of case. I assure you, I used to feel this way and the first few were tough.  But when it comes down to a couple millimeters on a piece of paper or getting rid of DVDs, the choice was obvious.  | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com
