Well looks like once again the government's of the world have underestimated the power of nature as another ash cloud looks set to move over the UK and Europe.

I would guess he is referring to the fact that volcanic ash doesn't like the human body much more than it does jet engines or cars. But from a different angle, it is highly acidic, ones nose and mouth are very wet. Not to mention respiratory system itself and the havoc that volcanic ash can wreck there. So, keep a respirator or hankie handy.

Well, you're lucky. Starting at 0500 UTC Scotland has been declared more or less safe for flying. The rest of the UK will follow during the day. Lots of restrictions I guess. Same goes for Europe.

Amsterdam is now open too. And I hope others will follow soon. I need to fly from Dusseldorf in a couple of hours. Time to turn off the computer and leave.

Back around the 8 of May.
Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer.

Yeah thought so i don't fancy the prospect myself of having my throat burnt my lungs turning to cement before chocking to death.

Is this as a result of eating too much chocolate?

To much dyslexia

Though i think dying by a chocolate volcano would be a far better scenario.

Looks like all Scottish airports are open from 1pm till 7pm today.

11.15am

David Charter our man in Brussels sends this:

Eurocontrol forecasts 14,500 flights in European airspace today, up on 9,000 yesterday. A normal day would be 28,000.

A European Commission spokeswoman said: "This morning we have more flights wth limited operations coming out of Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Italian airspace. This is partly due to weather conditions, partly due to the new restrictions and the more pragmatic approach which has been agreed since 8am."

The icelandic people are used to such stuff, it is not the end of the world for them, it is nature and we need to accept that nature is always > men.

Scandinavian cultures have a very deep routed culture of rebuilding. They don't seem as phased by destruction as other country's are.
