| Posted: | | | | Is anyone else having a problem when printing reports using the new version?
I usually print the "slim CD cases" report. When creating it, it looks just fine when I look at it. Unfortunately when I go to print the report, the images don't print! I've even tried just creating PDFs, and again, they look fine when running the report, but as soon as I save them and open them as a PDF file, the image has vanished!
I didn't have this problem using the old version. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. |

| Posted: | | | | I just received an email from Invelos. They admit that this IS a problem with version 3.6. Unfortunately, they didn't indicate any kind of fix date for it. |

| Posted: | | | | Same problem here - onscreen preview looks fine, all 30 thumbs per page showing up. But when sending to the printer, the actual printed page will have from 2-3 thumbs missing. Stranger yet, they are not necessarily the same 2 or 3 thumbs either.
Pre 3.6, I'd occasionally have a similar error, but it was much rarer of an occurance and the misprints were all-black placeholders rather than the whate space I'm getting now.
Edit: In case it may assist in any planned debugging, I also tried deleting ALL my thumbnails and allowed the program to rebuild tham, but this did not help either. Also tried a full db repair and finally tried sending less data to the printer by sending as only black & white - still no good. | | | Last edited: by MsPaula |

| Posted: | | | | FYI, I created a new support ticket and just installed the new INVELOS Zipfile which DID fix this problem. I suggest everyone having this problem get the zipfile and run it to correct this problem. Good luck. |

| Posted: | | | | Bullard, Sorry to hear you still have the problem. Hopefully you have the same zip file that I got. FYI, mine is this size: 9.87 MB (10,349,723 bytes) I didn't even need to reboot the PC. Everything just started working again.
I just ran it again just to be sure and here's what I found: It works fine on the report I use (slim CD cases), but when I try to use the INVELOS COVER IMAGE PAIRS report, it only prints the front graphic and NOT the back at all times. Strange. Definitely a problem. What report are YOU using? Try the slim CD case report to see if you still have the problem. At least you'll know if your zipfile worked, even if it's NOT the report of your choosing. Good luck. | | | Last edited: by hurtzel |

| Posted: | | | | I took the zip from invelos web site. mine was 10,354,688 which seems to be a different size then yours. i tried both slim and regular cases with the same results. no graphics. |

| Posted: | | | | I've used the zip version and at first I still had problems. But be aware that there are two available alternate process - once I'd opted for 'Alternate 2', I had no further troubles. It did NOT simply work right out of the box. The report I was using is graphic intensive, having 30 thumbs per page. |

So, does one have to open a ticket, which is now obviously already open, in order to get this zip file? | | | Mr Video Productions If it isn't Unix, it isn't an OS :-) |
