I always put these in as Make-Up Effects.

If I add them it would be Make-Up Effects, not Artist.

At present, the Crew Table in the Contribution Rules does not allow you to contribute these. You can however track them locally.

Corne is correct.
If it would be entered then as Make-Up Effects.
The problem here: It's not covered by the rules yet. With the change to the 3.6 rules-update Ken was explicitly asked to integrate the "prosthetic"-credits.
Alas, to no avail.

So with the current rules the answer is "No" - Definitely not "Artist" and the rules disallow the correct "Effects".
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Been keeping these local for almost a year now, so when the word comes down they are acceptable I have dozens of profiles ready for small tweaks and re-submissions. I think I did credit a couple as make-up effects here and there, depending on the mood of the day. I follow the rules 99% of the time, sometimes I bend them slightly. So a couple low-budget dtv horror films that only I own already have them for mkae-up fx. By the time anyone notices they will be acceptable.

It would come under Make-Up Effects....BUT it is not currently listed in the Crew Chart or the program...therefore for now the answer must be NO

I agree with the rest, unfortunately, it is not allowed at this time.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Wish it was... there is several movies in my collection that could use it.

It was asked about when Ken was doing the updates... but unfortunately (if I remember right) it wasn't until after Ken already requested no more updates other then polishing up what was already there. As he needed to get them out.

Hopefully the next update will bring it.

Latest poll here. Those results are about the same as we're seeing here: while everyone agrees that they should be entered, the community is divided over whether they can be entered. As a result, half of the userbase keeps entering them, while the other half doesn't...

Poll or no poll. QWhat is important is the rules, and ken did not adjust the Rules to allow for the entry, therefore for the answer has to NO for now, until Ken decides to edit the rules. This is an edit he could make TODAY, if he chooses, it dosen't HAVE to wait for the next program update, but that is his call. As long as it does not appear in the Crew Chart or the program it has to be No.<shrugs>   Were I ken, I would make the change, but i ain't he. Much better looking.

Let's hope so.

I understand that's your opinion. I'm just observing that many others don't share that opinion, and feel that these can/should be entered even with the current crew chart.

No, not6 my opinion, it is fact  that it is not listed in the Crew Chart or the Program.  To claim otherwise is creating an unfounded interpretation. Like I said, I am not opposed and if I were the Zombie, i would change it TODAY, I would have already done so, in fact, the last time it came up. But I am not he and am only better looking, but it's not hard to look better than a Zombie. And THAT is clearly only my opinion.

I agree that they should be included...but currently they are not a role that is specified in the rules, so currently No don't add them to the database. I keep them local though.
