I hope this question hasn't been asked yet, but I can't search, because the searching takes too long and it expires then.

I wanted to add a new DVD and I typed the EAN number. Now it already excists, but it is a whole different DVD!!!!!

How can I add my DVD? I don't have the DVD that's already in the database, so I can't check, but when I type the number in Google, it appears too. So I guess the numbers are alike.

What to do?

Hello,

this happenes from time to time, you can only add it by DISK ID now, this should work perfectly.

Enter it by DiscID.
Put the DVD into your DVD-ROM drive and pick the "By DiscID"-tab from the "Add DVD" menu.

If the artwork differs from yours, feel free to change it locally.
If the DVD isn't entered yet by DiscID you'd have to establish a new profile.

EDIT: Donnie types faster than me.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Yep, this will have to be a profile by Disc ID. Perhaps the correct profile will show up if you put your disc in the DVD-ROM drive - DVDProfiler might recognise it. If not, you'll have to build the profile yourself.

BTW: the forum search doesn't work very well. You'll get better results using Google with "site:invelos.com" preceding your search terms.

Does the "wrong" profile has the right locality? If Yes, you just have the possibility to add the new one over Disc Id as explained.
