I tired searching but keep getting a forum timeout error.. Cant search for anything.

Quite often when adding Region B Blu-Ray (I only purchase Blu-Ray) from New Zealand, I add to my collection via a bar code scanner, the scan does not find the movie in the database as the bar code is a Aus/NZ one.  I usually end up adding by title by picking the UK/US ones.

Can I search via title and find the appropriate title, then edit the UPC? And Contribute this as the Aus/NZ version to the online database?  If so how?

If I understand you correctly, you just want to change the UPC for an existing title from the database? Just click on "DVD" in the top toolbar in DVD Profiler, and then click on "Change UPC" from that list of choices. Simply enter the new UPC then and click OK. You may also need to "Change Locality" from that list.

Then you can contribute it with a new UPC to the database. Just make sure all of the information is correct for the release you have.

In future, forget about the forum search and use Google with "site:invelos.com" preceding your search terms - you'll get much better results.

And Welcome to the Asylum!

The way of doing has Katatonia wrote.
Be sure you check the profile, add the correct scans and make the changes that are different. And be sure that you put in enough contribution notes, because the screeners don't see that you copied the profile from an existing one, it is a new contribution for them.
