Directly on C:\ drive I'd get a 'Cannot create file C:\<filename>'
In C:\Program Files\DVD Profiler\ it appeared to work, but I was unable to see the files.
Than I noticed an option in explorer to list 'Compatibility Files', which than showed these (and only these) two files. But they appear to be in a different Virtual Store directory under my user directory.
I assume this is some setting I have on my computer, anyone know what I'm talking about?
I know this probably isn't a dvd profiler issue, but since I don't know how to delete the original posting, I thought I might as well edit it to state the actual issue.

Try to save personal data files under your "My Documents" structure or on a different hard drive, because that's where they are supposed to be. | | | Karsten
