So, I'm watching Season 7 of the Cosby Show (UPC 634991-332194) and notice that two of the episodes have been switched.

Episode 14. Attack of the Killer B's is listed on the back and in the on-screen menu (title and description) as being on disc 2.

Episode 19. No More Mr. Nice Guy is listed on the back and in the on-screen menu (title and description) as being on disc 3.

However, when you play the actual episode, No More Mr. Nice Guy is on disc 2 and Attack of the Killer B's is on disc 3.

So here's my question. The current overview has a simple episode list. Should this list be updated to reflect what's actually on the discs or does the "copy the overview exactly as written" not allow this data to be updated?

The overview part has to remain as it is printed on the cover.

Since the "simple episode list" is made out of hard facts that aren't printed anywhere on the DVD you can correct the order to what actually is.

Is there an episode list on the back cover or was this a user compiled list. If it is the former No, list exactly as they appear in the overview, if the latter probably a user typo.

I would also include a note in my cOntribution if it is the former, so that users who wish to, would have the information at hand to adjust their locals.

Actually, it's a little of both. There is a separate section below the cover overview that has three columns and lists the episodes for each disc (incorrectly in this case). The current profile simply has a list of all 25 episodes (again, not in the exact order on disc, but as per the order on the case...)

The order on the case is correct for the Overview.
Like I said i would include a comment in my notes so that users would have the information to adjust locally if they wish.

Unfortunately, since the episodes are printed on the case, that is how they have to be in the overview.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Also agree with Skip's suggestion to mention this in the contribution notes (if there's anything left to contribute, that is).

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately, I don't know if there's anything left to contribute on this title (perhaps a new scan?) so I guess I'll have to keep the information local for now.

Perhaps we could start a thread something like the one Pete started for Movie trivia that would track cover errors? (anything where the cover doesn't match what's on the actual disc). Just a thought....it would be nice to be able to share this type of information with other users.
