I can't give you a general answer, but on my PC it uses normally around 160MB RAM.

But this cound vary depending on how many profiles you have or if you have your own scanned HQ-covers.
I have a total of around 1300 profiles, around 530MB of headshot data and only very few covers I scanned myself, most of them are just the standard covers downloaded from the Profiler Online Database.

Do you still use 3.5 version ? With 3.6 beta I noted it was much faster...

Loading time seems in some cases to be related to the usage of custom layouts.
Save your current layout and switch back to a default-layout. Maybe that helps
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
