I am running win 7 and have been using profiler for for about a year and just encountered a new problem.  Sometimes when moving a movie from ordered to owned, I right click and the menu comes up and profiler freezes and I have to exit and re-open the program.  I will not respond.  I've tried a few things...like no menu animations or whatever but nothing works.  Any help?

Without seeing your machine, this might be about anything, from corrupted installation over security software interference to defective hardware.
So a few more questions to exclude the one thing or the other:
1. Does this "freeze" only happen to DVDProfiler or are other programs (esp. games) affected too?
2. Which security software do you use, to which sec-level is it set?
3. Does the error still occur if the security software is disabled?
4. Does the error occur every time, or does it happen randomly?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Thank you for your response.  The "freeze" only happens in Dvd profiler,  My computer is fine otherwise.  I use trend micro and have tried going as far as uninstalling it and Super -anti spyware.  And it does happen about 90 % of the times I use profiler (which is a couple times a day).  I have tried fresh installs.  Completely re-downloaded my profile and each cover one by one. As well as re-added actror pictures.  I have tried the database repair  utility several times.  Still no luck.  I'm thinking it's a windows7nproblem or something because Not a lot has changed on my pc other than upgrading windows.  I installed profiler on my two other pcs with no problems(they run windows xp and vista. JUst hoping I'm not alone and this can be resolved.  Any input is appreciated.  Thanks.

Up to now there was only one problem with DVDProfiler that reproducibly originated in Win7, and that only seems to occur in Great Britain.
As far as I can tell Win7 runs fine on my computer and has no unwanted interferences with DVDProfiler.

Some more questions:
How did you update to Win7?
Clean install or did you update an already installed OS?
If it was an update: From which Windows version did you update?

How do you move the profiles from "Ordered" to "Owned"?
Do you use the context menu (rightclick) or "drag'n'drop"?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
