Worked fine before since I installed Dvd profiler ages ago, but now when I double click on the cast photo area, it does not open up Firefox(my default) or IE and go to the images of the said actor/actress to download. (and yes I'm clicking the correct area, I've used this feature/method for over 500 dvd's in my collection)

It just dose nothing now. Doesn't open up anything, just sits there. Now, one must go to google & search each name by typing in the name manually. It's like the feature in Profiler is turned off or something.

Very disappointed.  Takes too long for the manual process.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Works fine for me on DVDProfiler 3.5.1 Build 1252 and any browser I tested as "Default" (IE, Opera, Firefox).
Which version do you use?
Check your default browser settings via "Start -> Default Programs" (or equivalent), possibly no browser is named there.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Is it possible that a firewall is blocking this interaction with a browser?

Did you double-click on the cast/crew line entry first to open up the in-program pop-up and then double-click on their photo?

Firefox version 3.5.7  & Profiler 3.5.1 (Build 1252)  and had the same firewall settings for years before & after my Profiler install.

I will check the default browser when I go home. I can't imagine it being turned off. I never touched that feature & I've been using DVD Profiler for a long long time.

Yes. That what I do currently(until it stopped working of course) & have done in the past with the 500 hundred or so dvd entries. (as stated in my original post) I click the cast actor. Then I double click on the photo (its blank, if no pic is there prior) from the "pop-up" that shows the actor/actress list of movies(dvd covers) underneath that I own.

Perhaps you could try to change the default browser to IE, restart and try.
If it works rechange to Firefox, restart.
